Moving physical stuff between people has no protocol. FedEx and UPS solve warehouse-to-door, but there is nothing for person-to-person. No identity layer. No real-time tracking. No trust built into the exchange itself.
You can send a message to anyone on earth in milliseconds with cryptographic proof of delivery. But send a physical package to your neighbor? You are stuck with cardboard, a tracking number that updates hours late, and hope.
The Solution

Designed for Vessel
Vessel is a protocol layer for physical exchanges. Every exchange gets identity, tracking, insurance, and trust. It is powered by smart containers with NFC identity, electronic locks, and GPS + BLE tracking, dispatched through existing courier networks like DoorDash and Uber Direct.
A single tap on the copper NFC ring seals the shipment, verifies the sender, and dispatches a courier. From that moment, every handoff is verified, every location is logged in real time, and every delivery is insured. Pickup to delivery in under an hour.
The core primitive is the Route: a configurable set of people, rules, and Vessels. Private routes for families. Public routes for businesses. One protocol, infinite configurations.
The Backbone

Over the past decade, the gig economy built something extraordinary: millions of on-demand drivers covering every zip code in the country. Uber Direct, DoorDash Drive, and Frayt have turned same-day delivery into infrastructure. It is reliable, API-accessible, and improving every quarter.
Vessel treats these courier networks the way TCP/IP treats physical cables. We don't own the transport layer. We build the protocol that rides on top of it. A single dispatch call routes to the fastest, cheapest available courier in real time. As autonomous vehicles and drone delivery come online, our transport layer absorbs them automatically. The protocol stays the same.
Couriers are not competitors. They are partners, and the backbone of every Vessel in motion.
The Origin
StorageHero proved the platform
Vessel started with StorageHero, the first service built on the platform, created and operated by BlueScroll, Inc. On-demand self-storage, powered entirely by the Vessel protocol. StorageHero customers use their own app to store and retrieve belongings. Underneath, Vessel handles identity, dispatch, tracking, and insurance.
StorageHero was just the beginning. Today the same protocol powers Vessel Exchange: buying and selling with anyone, with the money held until the buyer gets the item and approves. And it can power more: a neighborhood lending library, a sports-league gear exchange, a community pantry, or any trusted exchange of physical things between people.

Vessel is built by BlueScroll, Inc., a team of engineers and designers in Texas building the trust layer for physical exchange. We believe that the tools for tracked, insured, intelligent delivery should be available to everyone, from a family sending care packages across town to a neighborhood co-op sharing tools.
The Vessel hardware is purpose-built for the platform: premium durable containers with NFC identity, electronic locks, and GPS + BLE tracking, designed to deploy at scale.
